We all have dreams! This time of year we allow ourselves the pleasure of dancing in possibility. We set goals and intentions and aim for living our most authentic life. But do we let ourselves dream big enough?
In energy medicine, the third eye chakra is connected to visualization, dreams, seeing the unseen and wisdom. It’s the 6th chakra that sits just between the eyebrows. When we dream at night or even day dream, we tap into this energy center.
Think of those half conscious visions you’ve had. They’ve probably defied logic giving you super powers, moving through time and space without limitation. This is the same sort of boundless energy that we want to pull into our hopes, dreams and goals.
To ignite your intuitions and really go big, allow yourself the freedom to let your imagination play. Maybe you want to save the world? Save healthcare? Change the public school system? Change the food/agricultural system? End homelessness? End food insecurity? It takes some serious cajones and big ideas to create big change.
The world needs you now. Your spirit and soul have a unique gift to share. You can up level what you want your life experience to be.
Here are a few things I do to activate my 6th chakra:
I love to read children’s books where anything is possible. Dragons are blowing bubbles, mermaids are knitting… anything that takes my mind out of a rational, linear way of thinking. One of my favorite books is, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, by Dr. Seuss.
Meditation is a fantastic way to tap into the level of consciousness the mind needs to retreat from the stressors of life and play. Whether it be a guided mediation or focusing on breath, it’s a great way to help move out mental junk.
My husband and I have a shared vision wall. It’s like a vision board but it’s expansive and contains all sorts of seemingly outlandish declarations about what we want to pull into our life experience. It’s also great to share what you’re working to create with others who are supportive.
I wish you much success on creating big wonderful, positive dreams.
I hope this has been helpful for you!
Until next time,
